Lee Martin is a singer/songwriter who has been impacting the music scene with her thought-provoking lyrics and storytelling writing style. A childhood spent listening to greats such as Van Morrison, Dire Straits, Pink Floyd, Leonard Cohen, etc. has greatly influenced her music. Lee started her training in classical guitar at the age of 9 and has been singing and performing professionally for the past 15 years. Martin is an old soul with a versatile writing style that allows her to cross genres as she glides easily between folk, rock, blues, and country, all the while maintaining her unique sound. 2021 will see the release of Lee's 4th studio album.

2.00pm - 2.45pm – Amber Carly Williams Band

Amber Carly Williams is a 19-year-old artist emerging in New Zealand's Indie-pop scene. After graduating high school in Christchurch in 2019, she is now a full time student at Ara Music Arts and performs regularly around Canterbury. Amber incorporates looping skills in her live performances taking inspiration from Australian artist Tash Sultana. In October she had her debut performance with her backing band and Amber is performing at one of New Zealand's largest festivals: Bay Dreams Nelson 2021, alongside her band.

Old School rockabilly, rhythm and blues. Their mission statement: make YOU - prance, sway, bop, rock, twirl, gyrate, shake a leg, hoof it........get wallflowers DANCING....

4.15pm - 5.00pm – Keeltys

keeltys.jpg

“Keeltys” are a five-piece indie band recently formed at ARA Music Arts. With players drawing from different influences and genres, Keeltys' music is a sweet and sour dish of garage rock, indie pop, and jazz.
