Kay Duncan – 1pm
Kay Duncan is an Interdisciplinary artist who weaves her creative magic through music, poetry and visual art. With a rich and sensual alto voice that has been likened to a blend of Joni Mitchell and Karen Carpenter, Kay delivers her songs with warmth and passion.
She was the lead singer in the Christchurch jazz band “The Flying Dixies” and also works in collaboration with her composer and pianist husband Guy Hobson. She performs frequently at local venues, events and private functions Solo and with Guy.
Coyote – 2pm
Award winning songwriters and long time musical companions Amiria Grenell and Holly Arrowsmith, are joining in unison to form 'Coyote.' Bringing folk, country, soaring harmonies and plenty of nostalgia to the stage, this is a chance to see two of New Zealand's best in collaboration. Amiria, was also a part of the, "Fly My Pretties" Collective and Holly won this years Country Music song of the year with her song, "Slow train creek".
Katie Thompson – 3pm
New Zealand singer/songwriter Katie Thompson has just released her sophomore album “Impossible” which had been described as a treasure-trove of rare and beautiful songs which blend elements of pop, folk and country. Katie was nominated for Female Artist of the Year at the NZ Country Music Awards '11 & recently won the right to open for Elton John at his only New Zealand concert in Dunedin
