1.15-2pm Easy Living

Easy Living are Danny Wilson playing flute, sax and vocals & Michael Godfrey on guitar. We play tunes and songs that we like, with improvisation playing a big part in our interpretations.


2.15-3pm Noise Section

Noise Section is a genre-blending trio that performs an eclectic mix of fully improvised Music. Their unique style is rooted in the sounds of Jazz, Dub, house, and Dilla-influenced beats. With drums, bass, and keys, Noise Section crafts a tight rhythm section that places a strong emphasis on groove and feel, utilizing dub techniques to create spacey sounds and atmospheric soundscapes. 


3.15-4pm Sam White [Paulo Santo]

Paulo Santo are returning to live at the point this year with their original four piece lineup.

Paulo Santo has an ever evolving, genre spanning nature so you can count on each performance being a unique experience. Their playful sensibility combining improvisation with creatively written songs has come as a result of many years of collaboration.

Fronted by Sam White the group will be playing a collection of songs from their debut album ‘Paulo Santo’ + brand new singles, and unreleased material.


4.15-5pm Midnite Blues Band

· Rosanna Harvey — Guitarist extraordinaire, weaving from jazz to Hendrix with effortless flair. Guitar and vocals.

· Serena Bayles — A rhythmic force just back from international jazz workshops. Drums, trumpet, and violin.

· Reiss Fatani — Our 17-year-old wonder. A rising star who sings with the big bands and commands the sax with style.

· Stephanie McEwin — Acoustic guitar, powerful soulful, blues jazz vocals, sprinkled with those delicate sweet notes

· Mel Leco — Double bass technician, currently studying at Ara. Her first recordings are on the horizon


Together, these women form Midnight Delta Diva — a collective of fierce talent and deep musical chemistry. Their sound is bold, tender, and electric. Their show is more than a performance — it’s a celebration of artistry, connection, and community.

1.45-2.30 Haizys

Returning for their fourth year to Live at the Point, The Haizys bring their full energy, indie rock sound. Playing some familiar tunes along with a selection of their originals.

2.45-3.30 The Kay Duncan Band

The Kay Duncan Band was formed from musical connections, both old and new between a group of professional Christchurch-based musicians. Initially working together on Kay’s Debut Album release concert back in 2022, and inspired by the opportunity to play originals in a band and have fun along the way.

Songs are smouldering with groovy, funky rhythms, interesting and sublime melodies and thought - provoking lyrics. All with a distinctive style encompassing the mix of genres.

Band members are Kay Duncan - vocals and acoustic guitar, Guy Hobson – Keyboard, Geoff Cox – Bass, Jono Tressler – Drums, Rob Tate – Lead Guitar, Cathy Boscolo and Rachel Bayliss – Backing vocals.

1.30-2.15 Al P and his P.A.L’s

After a great year playing their regular Wednesday night gig at the Commoners bar in Lyttelton, this loose group of local musicians bring their unique sound back to the POINT in 26.

Playing all Park originals plus the odd cover,  the line up this year features, Chris Voison on bass, Drummie Dan Heatley on drums and Gordy Goodinson on guitar.


2.30-3.30 Luemdillies

The Luemdillies (pronounced loom-dillies) are a creative five piece vocal and instrumental line up

from the Garden City of Otautahi Christchurch, New Zealand.

The Luemdillies bring to the stage the sounds of vocals, stringed instruments, bass and drum.

The musical songs written and played are inflections of personal stories and celebrate life

forged on the wide expanses of the Canterbury plains. The sounds of the Luemdilles unite, with

genuine simplicity and humour, catchy melodies that are infused with touches of the blues,

country, folk, Celtic and even a whisper of punk.

This is a band whose musical journey will make you want to let your heart listen and get your

feet dancing.

1.15-2pm Kaito

I’m Kaito, a local singer and guitarist. You may have seen me performing around Christchurch, I've been busking for over 15 years now! I play a range of songs, many of which I've added an acoustic twist to. 

I'm excited to be back at The Point - see you there!


2.15-3pm Finished Business


We are called Finished Business, and we play jazz mainly from the pre-bebop period,

which we call Vintage Jazz. We do favourite vocal standards, instrumental features from

Benny Goodman, Django Reinhardt and others.

We have recently relaxed our rule of only playing songs that are older than we are,

because some of our current members are young enough to qualify us to play Miles Davis

and Herbie Hancock!

We’ve played at Markets around Christchurch, Riverside, parties and Corporate gigs, and

regularly play at Jazz After Work at ARA.

We’re usually to be found at Sherpa Kai in the Commoners in Lyttelton every Tuesday

night at 7:30pm.

With captivating stage presence and crowd participation, Mundi create a vibrant and energetic dancefloor filled with joy and fun that lures people into an ancient memory of the pulse of life and awakens our dancing selves lurking beneath. 

Filled with joy and exuberant energy, Mundi has captured hearts across the land and far-flung seas, touring and performing extensively. This year Mundi has put on a whopping 30 dates around NZ, bringing their mesmerizing performances to a plethora of different venues and festivals. They interlace stories through music of our interactions with nature and ourselves on a sizzling array of instruments: African and Brazilian percussion, flutes, guitar, bass, vocals and dances intertwined.

1.45-2.15 The Wanderer -Dylan

Wanderer music began on London street in Lyttelton over a decade or so ago..since then he has toured it around the world and found it resonates the same wherever he goes. When asked what genre it is he replies with a cheeky grin "psychedelic loops" 


2.30-3.30 King Tubbs

King Tubbs dish up classic tunes, blues, funk and reggae alongside instrumental dubbed out jazzy twists on popular songs. Feauring local legends Harry Harrison on vocals/guitar/loops and the soulful Justine S on sax/flute/keyboards/vocals. Come and soak up the sounds of King Tubbs!
